  • Long-standing interest and demonstrated committment to cultural institutions, particularly libraries and museums, as well as publishing in the visual arts. She has participated in NINCH for the last several years, assisting in a wide range of policy and programmatic matters from mission and strategy development to copyright and fair use issues. Her work for the Smithsonian Institution in business affairs gives her a strong grounding in practical, financial matters. Her more recent work at the Library of Congress as counsel to a cutting edge, 60-million dollar digitizing effort demonstrates creative thinking. She has the ability to look at challenges from the viewpoint of hands-on, practical experience and an eye to the future. She has lectured for audiences from museums, libraries, archives, among others and demonstrates leadership and influence with her colleagues on a national scale.
