committment to cultural institutions,
particularly libraries and museums, as well as
publishing in the visual arts. She has
participated in NINCH for the last several
years, assisting in a wide range of policy and
programmatic matters from mission and strategy
development to copyright and fair use issues.
Her work for the Smithsonian Institution in
business affairs gives her a strong grounding in
practical, financial matters. Her more recent
work at the Library of Congress as counsel to a
cutting edge, 60-million dollar digitizing
effort demonstrates creative thinking. She has
the ability to look at challenges from the
viewpoint of hands-on, practical experience and
an eye to the future. She has lectured for
audiences from museums, libraries, archives,
among others and demonstrates leadership and
influence with her colleagues on a national
scale.
